Gash Bell movie 1
Um... I was pretty hesitant on watching the Gash Bell movie. Actually, I thought it was strange to even have one, it didn't really seem movie material. (I know it's a popular series, and all popular series need movies, blah blah....)
Anyways, plot wise, I thought it was something simple and anyone could have thought of it. The 101th book, yeah, not something so special. How the story played out was a bit better. ...
Character wise, Kotoha, I thought was boring doesn't really matter. (lolwut, she was importantm but I don't really care about her) Wiseman, I thought he was stupid and those all powerful bad guys that never want to die. ...Gee, a book that can absorb the spells of other mamono spells and use it for themselves, how not cheap is that? >.>
Um... Another complaint, I think they made Megumi/Tio's spells WAAAAAAAY too strong. Not that their spells aren't supposed to be, or maybe they've always been fighting really strong bad guys in the series that their spells never work, but they made the normal all around barrier seem strong, and the barrier that traps the enemy in their own attacks like, super powerful.
Oh, and Megumi and Tio fanservice, because Megumi was in a tank top and mini skirt and they were both drawn really really pretty-like.
The animation was a little weird sometimes, where the characters would wobble around like rubber... or like the sixth One Piece movie, except with lots of shading.
Oh, the demon world was really pretty. I was thinking of Magical Star Sign when they were at the school and the students and teachers were all sizes and shapes of all kinds. Yeah, random thought. BTW, how was it possible to fit Kiyomarou in that green duffle bag?
The whole Gash's mom in the conflict was a nice touch I guess. I was just watching the episode on that yesterday and it made me cry. ...The episode, not the movie. Let's not forget that scene. Gash: My mom is a man?
What I did like was the random Suzume (and Naomi?) appearance, that didn't even have to be there. XP
So in the end, I think I might have been better off not watching the movie. ...There is a second one I can watch and critisize right?
